| About us: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.The ICRC also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the Geneva Conventions and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. It directs and coordinates the international activities conducted by the Movement in armed conflicts and other situations of violence.Minimum required knowledge & experience:- 3 year's work experience in a related function;
- Good command of written and spoken English, Urdu and Pashto;
- Superior computer skills, incl. spreadsheets, databases and internet;
- Experience of producing communication material would be an advantage;
- Diploma in Secretarial Management would be a definite advantage.
Standard function description:- Translation of documents into local languages (Urdu and Pashto) for production
- Production of communication tools and publications
- Distribution of communication tools and publications to stakeholders, field offices and relevant departments
- Management of publications and communication material stock
- Compilation and management of stakeholders' database and mailing list;
- Department administration and logistics
The Profile:ICRC is looking for a young and energetic individual who has good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate should have the ability to work independently and in a team.
